I. As a visitor was favorite part of the exhibit was Civil War era exhibit because there was so much to look at. The amount of artifacts displayed in this section made very intriguing and informational. I enjoyed looking and all the weapons and uniforms of the soldiers.

  1. i would prep my students by presenting them with prior knowledge of the information that is going to be viewed in the museum. I also would give s few tips on how to behave and conduct themselves while in the museum because this is important for the students to know.
  2. I would have them go through exhibit from the beginning to the end filling out a scavenger hunt that would help the students focus in on the key areas in North Carolina history all while adding a little competition to the trip.
  3. I would focus on the settlement of North Carolina up through the Civil War. This was a time that shaped the state's agriculture and political outlook we have today. During this large span of time America was becoming a new nation and North Carolina played a big part in this too.
  4. I would have, if possible, one the workers at the museum to give the students a tour to help them focus on the major points of North Carolina History. I also would have them take pictures with as a prt of the scavenger hunt and then post their pictures up in class the next day.
  5. I would tell them to pick a least one person in the North Carolina History Museum to write a story about or to due further research on. I might also have them make a video of the history of North Carolina using the picture they took in the museum.
  6. How can concentrate on the most important aspects of North Carolina history while in the museum? What is the best way to control your students from running wild in the museum?
III.
  1. I would have students due a photo scavenger hunt through the museum. i would have them find certain thing or people in the museum and take a photo of them. In order to complete the activity the students must have a picture for each question and the group members must be in the picture.
